I recently got an email from the Animal Legal Defense Fund. They are pioneering legislation in California to make public animalabuse registries. The Animal Legal Defense Fund (ALDF) today announced an effort aimed at creating public registries in each state of anyone convicted of felony animalabuse.

Wouldn't you want to know if a violent or repeat animalabuser were living next door to you and your family? Keep your animals and your families safe. think it's a great idea.
The Animal Legal Defense Fund provided $3500.00 to investigate the abuse of over 100 dogs by an animal hoarder in Michigan. From the ALDF site: Dearborn, Mich.– Tags: animalabuseALDF You can read more about it by clicking on the link.
